Jennifer is a M.Sc. student in Integrated Studies in the Faculty of Land and Food Systems at UBC. She completed a B.A. in Geography, majoring in Environment and Sustainability. Her academic interests are biogeography, GIS, and pollinators! In the summer of 2019, she received an NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award to conduct collaborative research with the Plant Insect Ecology and Evolution and Pacific Centre for Isotopic Geochemical Research labs at UBC to study how trace metal pollution is distributed across bumble bee populations in the Metro Vancouver region. She is interested in researching the relationships between plants and pollinators and how they are affected by pollution, climate, and land use change.
